  Food was cooked perfectly. The chicken was super tender and veggies were still nice and crisp. But really lacks flavour. May have just been my dish though as my friends said their meals were pretty tasty, but wouldn't recommend the black bean chicken in that case.

  Staff always friendly and remember me by name. Don't judge this place based on negative reviews only - people are always more inclined to review a place when they haven't enjoyed it rather than when they have. Give it a go!

  Went in there because I had to make a stop for a hungry baby. Food was below average. Asked waitresses for water 3 times before they got over their passive aggressiveness and gave us one cup each (implicit message - don't bother asking for a water refill) + had to wait for many minutes when we paid the bill despite there being nobody else because the waitresses were doing other non essential tasks at their own time (probably should have walked out). If only I had checked the ratings before I came in I'd have saved myself the agony of lunch in the Golden Crown.

  Have been eating here for years, and have never had a bad experience. We have moved a few times, and still drive back to get Golden Crown! Highly recommend the fillet chicken in crab meat sauce.

  Fking disgusting restaurant, it tastes so bad, I suggest to go somewhere else. Not Chinese favour at all, it is an insult to Chinese cuisine. Don't be cheated by it's chinese building looking. If u really want to have chinese food in Ballarat, restaurants in the city like Crazy Asia and Fumonlou tastes way better. I don't recommend having Chinese cuisines in Ballarat, no good restaurants
